Natasha Moore
As DHPR’s Indigenous and Community Relations Coordinator, Natasha Moore brings passion and positivity to her role. She loves to engage with Indigenous communities and sees the real impact on Indigenous businesses and individuals from her work. She is an advocate for Indigenous equality and has completed the Administration program offered by APTEC.
Growing up in Halifax Nova Scotia, Natasha is a member of the Pictou Landing First Nation and proudly teaches her son of her history and culture.
On the job, Natasha helps DHPR execute programs such as the Progressive Aboriginal Relations Program (PAR) for its clients. She also develops strategies that include leading the implementation of client based Indigenous awareness education as well as cultural campaigns. She writes for company newsletters and websites and is also a liaison to education and training employment officers in various Indigenous communities across the country.
Natasha is a fish keeper and outdoor enthusiast. She is also trained through the Canadian College of Natural Medicine in reiki, reflexology, and cranial sacral therapy.
