TEAMWORK
Getting the job done requires ongoing effort of great teams consisting of dedicated staff and hardworking leaders. When employees bring their skillsets together to work on a project, fundraiser, event, strategic plan, or any other workplace function, the business will benefit from this team effort. We cannot conquer all things by working alone. It requires the workmanship of collaborative effort.
PROFESSIONALISM
Always be professional. Dress according to the dress code, be clean and tidy, avoid using vocal fillers, no fidgeting, and do not use slang at work. If you want to be taken seriously and set yourself up for a promotion or job transfer, acting professional at all times, I believe, is a must. You want your employer to remember you and to have great things to say about your professional work ethic and positive demeanor.
FORWARD THINKING
In order for businesses to continuously flourish, it needs employees who are innovative, who can think about the future, who can think outside of the box, and who can strategize about what to do for direction. For example, if a business is about to plummet, it needs a collective team of people who can see a way out and help the company get back on its feet.
LEARNING
There is always something to learn on the job, and it is important to remember that life is about continuous learning. Employees should engage in intellectual activities and discussions with their coworkers, foster an ongoing learning environment with their staff, and be open to what others have to offer on the job that can help with job-related success and company enrichment.
